ELx Travel was founded on a sunny summer day in Maine, over a few laughs and a we should start our own travel agency comment...

Flash forward to January 2023, and the idea snowballed into a reality from two friends who had spent a decade in the industry.

Since then, Emily + Lexie have crafted bespoke itineraries ranging from multi-week European honeymoons, to overwater bungalows in Tahiti, to hikes around Machu Picchu, and more.

No matter the travel dream, Emily + Lexie will craft it for you.

Emily Davin

Co-Founder, Co-Owner

Emily graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management and Event Planning. She is a Certified Travel Associate with the Travel Institute and is certified in Special Needs Travel.

Emily brings 10+ years of industry experience to the team with a background in Leisure and Romance Travel and has extensive knowledge of the Caribbean, Iceland, and Scotland. She is also a certified Japan Travel Specialist. She has travelled to 21 countries and 3 continents. Her goal is to visit every continent and hopes to travel to Antarctica within the next two years!

Lexie Carter

Co-Founder, Co-Owner

Lexie graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Bates College, and her MBA from Hult International Business School. She is a Certified Travel Associate, Luxury Travel Specialist, and Honeymoon Specialist with the Travel Institute.

Lexie's first trip abroad was to Nepal, and she brings 10+ years of experience to the team with an extensive background in Customer Experience and Product Development. She specializes in travel to Europe, Latin America, and Asia. Her most recent trip was to Colombia, and she's currently brainstorming her dream honeymoon to Japan!
